Call for Artists: ART on the Square’s 2nd Annual Holiday Show IN the San Mateo County History Museum is happening on Saturday, November 18, 2017. The Museum is on Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City. ART on the Square will provide artists with spaces located on two floors under the museum’s spectacular stained glass rotunda for selling their original work. Thanks to the generosity of Holiday Show Sponsors and a portion of artist fees, the Museum will be free to the public the day of the show. Application packets must be received no later than August 31, 2017. Space is limited and interest in this show is high. Applications will be juried all at once and acceptance emails will follow soon after.
Color Our Streets EXTRAORDINARY! – SSF UTILITY BOX MURAL PROJECT
Deadline: Submissions considered on an ongoing basis
The South San Francisco Cultural Arts Commission invites entries for the 2016 SSF Utility Box Mural Project. Artists and creative community members are invited to Color Our Streets EXTRAORDINARY by transforming drab utility boxes into awe-inspiring works of art. Distinctive images that celebrate beauty, offer a positive outlook and create a sense of place are welcome. Designs that reflect the history, character or culture of South San Francisco are encouraged.

Guidelines may also be obtained at the South San Francisco Parks & Recreation Department office, 33 Arroyo Drive, during business hours.
