A third generation artist, Trowzers Akimbo grew up in the creative hot house that is Venice, CA.

He received his BFA, from CalArts (better know as the Chouinard Art Institute, at the time) while attending on a scholarship. 

In addition to painting, he’s engaged in many creative commercial projects. He created for television at NBC, directed and designed hundreds of animated and live action television commercials, created illustrations for advertising agencies, design studios and magazines and led creative teams for video game companies, as their chief creative officer. He’s received numerous awards for his commercial endeavors, among them, a national Primetime Emmy award.

Trowzers works in both representational (presented here) and abstract styles.
